Many homeowners love the look of wainscoting in various rooms of the home, including a dining room like this one. The problem is, traditional wainscoting is very time consuming and as a result costs can run high.
With this version, we just use a chair rail molding around the room and use horizontal rectangles with panel molding to create the wainscoting look. It’s a great way to dress up a room with wainscoting in less time and for a lower price!
The striking red paint in this dining room really made the white molding “pop”.
We finished off this room in Temecula with baseboards and crown molding to really make this a formal dining area.
