Here is a mock up for a custom entertainment center we did for a customer after they agreed on the price of the unit.
They wanted their entertainment center sticking out of the wall just a little bit more than the TV we were going to hang on the wall, so we planned on taking out the drywall and re-working the studs to have the rest of the built in inside of the closet behind the installation wall.
They liked the simple, open cabinet design.
Here is the unit after installation. We moved the outlets to the back wall inside the closet, mounted the TV and ran the wires through the wall to the back outlet. Now the homeowners just have to put their components inside the new unit and start enjoying their space saving built in entertainment center!
Here is another drawing we did for a customer for a much larger, full niche built in entertainment center. Stain grade to match the kitchen cabinets color. This is a rather wide unit, I believe it was over 8 feet wide. I loved the idea of a big, open display cabinet for the top cabinet instead of breaking it up into smaller sections.
Here is the unit after installation, with the new fireplace mantel right next to it. Came out great, just like the drawing!
Finally, here is a stained built in bookshelf we installed in south Temecula. Two touch lights in the radius arched top cubby, adjustable shelves below (They wanted the option to take them out and possibly put a TV in there at some point) and cabinets with adjustable shelves on the bottom.
